Which country is the biggest producer of the Kiwi-fruit?

The top kiwi producing country in the world is China, which has only recently become an international competitor. This country produces approximately 1,765,847 metric tons annually. Here, kiwi is grown in the southwestern mountainous areas and in the provinces of Shaanxi and Sichuan. Because it is a native fruit here, China is able to produce more varieties of kiwi. Major importers of Chinese kiwi include Japan, Russia, Korea, and France.

The internet is saying China with a production of 1,840,000 and Italy 506,958.. So its not wrong. I had the wrong answer, answered Chile, I could not be more wrong. I had not had my coffee yet.

Gery Tillmanns, china is right. China alone produce more than 1,8 million a year. But they don't sell so much abroad.

If you do your research extensively, you will find the answer to be China. To many people just Google something and take the first thing that pops up as complete truth. Learn to research better.

I am shocked at the amount of people who cannot research this question and answer. They google it and believe what they find is totally true. Remember to check the dated information as some sites are old and not up to date. Put a bit more effort into getting the correct information before crying that the answer is wrong especially if you guessed wrong or more likely googled the answer before answering .....
