St Pancras railway station (/seɪnt ˈpæŋkrəs/ or /sənt ˈpæŋkrəs/), also known as London St Pancras and since 2007 as St Pancras International, is a central London railway terminus and Grade I listed building located on Euston Road in the London Borough of Camden.
Widely known for its Victorian architecture, the station stands between the British Library, King's Cross station and the Regent's Canal. It was opened in 1868 by the Midland Railway as the southern terminus of its main line which connected London with the East Midlands and Yorkshire. When it opened, the arched Barlow train shed was the largest single-span roof in the world.

have been through there a couple times on our way to france...got busted for taking a pic of a brit 20 member soccer team all dressed as boulangers, each with a marinière and beret, and a loaf of french bread under his arm. Luckily security let me keep my camera and picture, once they figured out i wasnt a spy, but it was a close call as suddenly I was surrounded by 10 armed secruity staff. Turns out we were in a security/no photos area which is technically a border crossing from UK to France. Great station - we went all the way to Gare du Nord station..the way we knew we were finally in france was because the road traffic was driving on the right side...lol

The station is also the terminus in England of the High Speed train to Belgium and the Netherlands through the Channel Tunnel
