George Blanda was a professional football player who played as a quarterback and kicker in the NFL. He is one of two people to play in four different decades and holds the record for being the oldest professional NFL player. He played in a game at age 48 years and 109 days. Plus, he was the first player to score over 2000 career points and holds the record of scoring a point each season for 26 seasons.

His biggest record however to this day is that he played the most number of NFL professional seasons as a football player with 26. His run began in 1949 with the Chicago Bears and ended in 1975 with the Oakland Raiders. Blanda finished his 26 professional football seasons having skillfully completed 1,911 of 4,007 pass attempts for 26,920 yards and 236 touchdowns.
