CANADA is situated north of the United States along the world’s longest undefended border. CANADA covers a large amount of North America’s surface area and is the second largest country on earth - only Russia covers more surface area.
Canada is separated into 10 provinces and 3 territories. The Dominion of Canada was established in 1867 with only 4 provinces: Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. The last province to join the Confederation was Newfoundland and Labrador in 1949.
Nunavut was the last addition to the Confederation when it was added as a new territory in 1999.

We in Canada do NOT have PROVIDENCES, we have PROVINCES. There's a big difference

Ah because it is a territory of Canada compare to the 3 which are provinces of Canada. Confusing though.

Some people claim that Prince Edward Island is NOT a province well then WHAT THE HECK IS IT,?? It's one of our 10 provinces and it's in what we in Canada call the Maritime provinces
