Which professional golfer, LPGA or PGA, has the most career wins as of 2018?
Kathy Whitworth has the most career wins, male or female, with 88, playing from 1962 until 1985. Mickey Wright is in second place on the LPGA with 82 victories, with Annika Sorenstam currently third with 72. Whitworth is still living and resides in Texas.
On the PGA tour "Slammin' Sammy Snead", active from 1936 until 1965, has 82 wins, tying him with Mickey Wright for second place (first place male). Tiger Woods is just three victories behind Snead at 79. Then it's "The Golden Bear" Jack Nicklaus with 73 all time wins and 18 "majors", the most of any golfer. On the distaff side, Patty Berg leads with 15 "major" LPGA victories. Snead was a Virginian who passed away in 2002.
