Which show did Lucille Ball hate, being mad that it was on the same network as her show?
Lucille Ball hated All In The Family as she was not a fan of its humor and even went so far as to try to get it canceled, which did not work. All In The family went on to run for years, winning several Emmy awards.

She turned into a self important, bitter, television doyenne. Early in her career in Hollywood, she was a B movie queen. However, she had an enormous ego, even in the early days of "I Love Lucy". She had an unwritten rule that Vivian Vance must always appear heavier than her on the show. In actuality, she was not the lovable clown she played on TV. She was not a comedienne. She didn't tell jokes or funny stories, but she was an excellent comedic actress. She was also a shrewd businesswoman and a tough old bird.

Ian MacBrown, ....All in the Family was not a show to convey that "bigotry was funny". It was showing people how ridiculous they sounded when making racist comments.

Char, I think there are only rare occasions when someone is able to cause someone else to sin. We each choose what to do, right or wrong. Thank you, Christine, James's wife

jonbroberts, wow now that's a side I don't like of her.. maybe that's why her later shows never got big ratings. For me and I bet others I don't like you I don't watch you. Always wondered so wonder if that's why Ricky ran around? Just makes you wonder as she's not so funny to me now.

Wow, an interesting question, but it had me thinking: we only had 3 major networks and PBS…I had to think which show was on which network 🤔 How lucky are we with ALL the channels have now😏

She didn't like anything that took away from her. In fact if you met her she was quite unlikeable herself.

In her last movies or tv specials I noticed that they made a special effort (not always successful) to use soft filters on her face to smooth out her wrinkles. That just made it more obvious - to me, anyway.
