Which side of the human body is controlled by the left side of the brain?
If you would split the brain right down the middle into two symmetrical, or equal parts, you would have a right and left hemisphere. Although equal in size, these two sides are not the same, and do not carry out the same functions.
The left side of the brain is responsible for controlling the right side of the body. It also performs tasks that have to do with logic, such as in science and mathematics. On the other hand, the right hemisphere coordinates the left side of the body, and performs tasks that have do with creativity and the arts. Both hemispheres are connected by the corpus callosum and serve the body in different ways .

They are now acknowledging that the brain is way more complicated then left side right side and that many brain injuries that should leave people completely disabled on one side the brain rewires itself and so this is no longer consider right brain left brain but that they work in conjunction with both sides

The body is more intelligent that what is given here. My father was in a car accident in 1954 and lost his entire left side of his brain. He had to relearn everthing, but he persisted, built himself back up with jump rope, speed bag, golf, ice skating and walked 5 miles a day. He became a tool grinder and became an officer in the local VFW. He was a very intelligent, gentle man and died when he was 93. There is more to humans than the books dictate.

Very mich so, Yvonne Edmiston Fjaagesund, as the brain can be retrained following either organic or inorganic trauma the theory this answer is linked to has been disproven historically and medically. Also Human Neuropsychology delves into the physiological/psychological connections which disprove this by assisting ABI patients in regaining their functions.

Most motor tracts do cross, but some don't. They control the ipsilateral, or same side of the body. So both is the correct answer

That’s old school theory the new age theory (emphasis on theory) is they control both sides.

If the left side controls logic, my brain rewired itself some. I had a tumor on the left side that gave me seizures for years, yet I'm pretty good at logic puzzles! Not so good at remembering things, though, because the tumor was right on the memory part.
