Who betrayed Jesus to the Romans?
Judas Iscariot (died c. 30 – c. 33 AD) was a disciple and one of the original Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. According to all four canonical gospels, Judas betrayed Jesus to the Sanhedrin in the Garden of Gethsemane by kissing him and addressing him as "rabbi" to reveal his identity to the crowd who had come to arrest him. His name is often used synonymously with betrayal or treason.
Judas's epithet "Iscariot" most likely means he came from the village of Kerioth, but this explanation is not universally accepted and many other possibilities have been suggested.

Judas did not betray Jesus to the Romans but to the religious rules, Jews. It was the religious rulers who betrayed him to the Romans. And it was not so much of a betrayal as a demand for the Romans to execute him. As stated by Pilate, he committed no crime worthy of punishment by death, but the Jews could not kill him under Roman law for blasphemy so they politically maneuvered to Romans to do it, of which Pilate washed his hands of responsibility. Bad question. It should be "Who betrayed Jesus?" and left at that.

It is a pet peeve of mine when people say "the Jews" crucified Jesus, like every jew on the planet was in on it. There were only a small number of Jews in on it or who even knew about it, They didn't have CNN in those days so many people, Jew or otherwise didn't even know about it when it happened.
By the way, the goes for condemning a whole group for the actions of a few--the Russians, the Koreans, the Chinese and so on. :(

the jews did not harm jesus---it was the political people in control who did not want to lose power----and the jews were following the teaching of jesus and this terrified the people in power with the loss of power---the jewish religious order----the romans were using the state of hebrew as a buffer zone and did not want to rock the boat and lose the buffer zone---like china uses north korea as a buffer zone against the west
