Who helped in writing "Fame" with David Bowie and Carlos Alomar?
John Lennon helped write the song, Fame with David Bowie. Lennon came up with the title and also sang the background "Fame" parts in the high voice. They started working on the song when Bowie invited Lennon to the studio, and Lennon played rhythm guitar on a jam session that resulted in this track.
Before they had produced the song, Bowie had met Lennon less than a year earlier at a party thrown by Elizabeth Taylor. Lennon was one of Bowie's idols, and they became good friends.
The song, Fame, is now included in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.

I was listening to Pandora earlier and Fame played. I told my wife that John Lennon co-wrote it with David Bowie. The coincidence of this question coming up afterwards is uncanny.

Of course it could not be include. It is not rock n roll. It is Disco song. David Bowie was a very strong fan of The Beatles. Once, when still a kid at school, he was caught drawing Paul Macartney's face during the class. The teacher sent him back home.
