Who is the first female President of S. Korea?
Park Geun-hye (born 2 February 1952) is the eleventh and current President of South Korea. She is the first woman to be elected as President in South Korea, and is serving the 18th presidential term. Park is the first female president of a Northeast Asian nation. She has been involved in national politics since 2004 and served in the Korean National Assembly for four consecutive terms. She assumed the office of President on 25 February 2013 and will complete her single five year term in 2018.
Her father, Park Chung-hee, was the President of South Korea from 1963 to 1979.

This needs to be date stamped and updated. She was impeached in 2016:-
‘On 9 December 2016, the National Assembly impeached Park on charges related to influence peddling by her top aide, Choi Soon-sil. Then-Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn assumed her powers and duties as Acting President as a result. The Constitutional Court upheld the impeachment by a unanimous 8–0 ruling on 10 March 2017, thereby removing Park from office.
On 6 April 2018, South Korean courts sentenced Park to 24 years in prison which was later increased to 25 years. Park is currently imprisoned at Seoul Detention Center.’
