Barbi Benton (born Barbara Lynn Klein on January 28, 1950) is an American model, actress and singer. She is known as a four-season regular on the comedy series “Hee Haw” and for recording a handful of moderately successful albums between 1974 and 1978. Since the 1980s, she has been semi-retired from show business to raise her two children.
“Hee Haw” was an American television variety show featuring country music and humor with fictional rural "Kornfield Kounty" as a backdrop. The show was inspired by Rowan & Martin's “Laugh-In,” but also different in that “Hee Haw” was far less topical, and was centered on country music and rural culture.
Benton lived with founding Playboy publisher, Hugh Hefner, from 1969-1976, and although she did appear on some covers and in various pictorials, she never was a Playmate of the Month. She married George Gradow, a real estate developer with two film credits to his name, in 1979.
