Born June 25,1945, Carly Elisabeth Simon is a singer-songwriter, and children's book author. Carly briefly was a duo act with her sister Lucy Simon but ended up going solo. She rose to fame in the 70s with a string of hits as well as winning a Grammy and Golden Globe. Carly even sang "Nobody Does it Better" from the 1977 James Bond film, "The Spy Who Loved Me". Carly is the former wife of notable singer-songwriter James Taylor and they have 2 children together. Carly has been inducted into both the Writers Hall of Fame, and the Grammy Hall of Fame. Carly's hit "You're So Vain" caused a stir, as people wanted to know what real life celebrity she was singing about. Most people believe it was Warren Beatty who Carly had briefly dated.
