Donald Arthur Mattingly (born April 20, 1961) is an American professional baseball first baseman, coach and current manager of the Miami Marlins. Many people, especially baseball fans, know him as "The Hit Man" and "Donnie Baseball", who spent his entire 14-year career playing with the New York Yankees. Later the famous player managed the Los Angeles Dodgers for five years.

Don is also well-known as the first left-handed-throwing third baseman since the early 20th century. This record was set accidentally, as Donald had to replace his injured teammate.
