Lauren Bacall was born Betty Joan Perske in the Bronx, New York on September 16, 1924. She died in Manhattan on August 12, 2014 at age 89. She was an American actress and singer. She was married to Humphrey Bogart from 1945 until his death in 1957, and later married Jason Robards in 1961. They divorced in 1969.

Lauren Bacall began her career as a model and made her film debut as a leading actress in "To Have or Have Not" in 1944. She also appeared in
