This episode, Sophia's Wedding (Part 1), where Sophia gets married to an old friend, had a mistaken invitation slip-up when the Elvis impersonators for a banquet showed up to the wedding instead of the invited guests.

Originally aired on November 19, 1988, Tarantino had landed the role due to his manager. Already showing signs of his own style, he was the only impersonator who wore his own clothes as the "Sun Records Elvis" or the real Elvis. The others wore the Vegas style outfits which Tarantino labeled "Elvis after he sold out."
