On the ABC 1988 to 1997 U.S. TV sitcom "Roseanne," Booker Brooks was the original foreman at Wellman Plastics, where Roseanne and Jackie were employed in Season One. Appearing in 11 episodes of the series during that time, this TV character role served as the breakthrough acting job for future major motion picture superstar performer, George Clooney.

As the original foreman at Wellman Plastics Co., Booker wasn't always taken seriously by those working for him. However, the workers especially Roseanne and her friends learned to appreciate him a little bit more when they had to compare him to their subsequent boss. Booker set the work quotas at Wellman at 5,500, much lower than the work quotas at 8,000 that their next boss required.

Booker would date Jackie during the series for only a little bit of time; they tried very hard to keep their affair a very close secret.
