Who was the first female guest host on Saturday Night Live?
Candice Bergen was the first female to host Saturday Night Live on November 8, 1975. She would host the show four more times, her last appearance was May 19, 1990. She is part of a group on the show known as the Five Timers Club, performers who have hosted SNL at least five times. The Five Timers Club was first mentioned on the show December 8, 1990. Candice Bergen is a five time Emmy Award winning actress and two time Golden Globe Award winner for her ten seasons as the title character on the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown (1988-1998). She was married to French film director Louis Malle for 15 years until his death in 1995. They had one daughter, Chloe.

tesla alset, it would have been more interesting if author had mentioned her convoluted relationship with Charley McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd. They came between her and her father, Edgar, often insulting him in front of her. Charley was more disrespectful than Mortimer.

Just last night I was reading something about Candice . I met her at a book signing a few years ago. We were born a month apart . The point being I remembered what a beauty she was . Now she still is very attractive, but very much over weight . She’s very smart, and humble . She was a woman of her time . I remember her on SNL in the early years, when the show was groundbreaking. Now it is sadly an also ran. What happened to talented writers,comedians,and musicians ? Ps. Paul Simon is another alum in the elite club of the early years .

Love Candice Bergen. She was great in TV sitcom Murphy Brown. Started out as a fashion model. Beautiful back then and still beautiful. Her Father was Edgar Bergen, famous Ventriloquist.
