lmoores, the left back door of the truck is dented which is why shadow looks distorted.

The ladder and centaur are my favourites.

This is why as a child, I was terrified at bedtime! Our house sat down a lane off the main road, there was a stop sign at the top of the lane. When cars would pull up to the stop sign with their headlights on. It cast some WEIRD shadows. Our lane was a dead end so the cars had to turn left or right & when they did, it made some long creepy shadows that moved. The shadow of the ladder looks crooked because, if you look closely you will see damage on that side of the truck. It distorts the shadow. The man & his dog combined to look like a Centaur was my favorite but the fish net stockings gave me a chuckle.

The ladder picture is really thought provoking. I think that there must've been knocks and dents in the back of the van which made the shadow follow a different direction.

lmoores, a combination of a battered ladder and battered door I would say. But, i agree that on first sight it was a little weird.

Definitely the spring.

That ladder is a puzzler for sure.
