7 right. Not a bad result, considering I've never actually read the novels (must do so). Many are a perception or Mandela effect, so made an easy guess. My favourite film adaptation has to be that with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. Actually setting it in period was so good. While I love "Elementary", and loved how they twisted it and set it in contemporary New York, as much as I love Lucy and how fine an actress she is, Watson as a woman threw me for a loop. While his doctor, Watson never coddled Sherlock, and I felt they made her portrayal mother him too much.

I do love Sherlock Holmes but if he was real, he would likely be the most irritating man to meet. Dr Watson is Gentleman though lol

Jeremy Brett was my favorite authentic Holmes, but I loved Benedict Cumberbatch in the contemporary Holmes series!

Basil Rathbone was the most "sherlockian" actor. Actually the clothes were originated inn the theatrical adaptations, just as the famous "Elementary, my dear Watson". I played SH in a theatrical rendering of "The Speckled Band".

I got 6 out of 8 correct. I should have gotten them all right, but I didn't. And I am a major Sherlock Holmes aficionado.
