One thing that I have learned over the years is that no matter what you think the future will be like, you're probably wrong.

My favourite one was about cocoa trees being extinct by 2020 due to climate change or whatever the alarmists are calling it these days. Only 2 years to go. So much truth in that statement. Oh, did I mention I saw a flying pig last night? It was one of the worst pieces ever I saw around here.

Cocoa trees are native to AMERICA, not AFRICA. In fact, there are many south american countries, including Colombia, where currently there are huge expanses of cocoa cultivation, and in Colombia, in different regions these trees have replaced illicit coca cultivation. The cocoa industry is growing in South America.

Many of these seem really outlandish, others a possibility, but none immediate. 2020 is only 2 months away and I haven’t heard of a sudden drop for chocolate, have you?

Humanity is going to disappear the way we are behaving.A lot of negative consequences are due to us being selfish and overindulging in all aspects of things such as 'Technological Progress' without giving thought to the ramification of these things.

This is all old news. We’re in 2023 now and there’s still plenty of chocolate to be had. As for cash it’s fine when all the technology works but when the power goes out and technology doesn’t work, cash is the only way.

I take note that this article was written in 2018, while predicting that cash money will completely disappear by 2025. We're already in 2023 as I speak right now. The way things are going, cash is still king and I don't see them disappearing soon.
