Funny, for untranslatable words you did a good job of translating them!

In bed, I coorie down when it's time to go to sleep. When I was wee, my parents would invite me to coorie in when I needed a cuddle. These days I extend the same invitation to the cat, but she's slightly psychotic and doesn't always feel like coorying.

I've heard the expression "million-dollar wound" from WWII. Something that didn't kill or cripple you, but enough to get you sent home.

I am sure that in every language they are words that are unique and can not translate theme in their full sense

This is very interesting to me as I love language. I do some translation from German and once, translating a story set in WWI I had a problem with the phrase "Heimatwunde". This literally translates as "Home-Wound" (though "Heimat" in itself has more implications than just "home") - meaning a wound that isn't life-threatening, but enough to keep you away from the front. I was aware of an English phrase "Blighty" for the same thing, but as that's also a slang term for Britain, it obviously didn't work!
