This country in the central Pacific consists of 33 small islands. They are so far from each other it takes about 6 hours to fly from the first one to the last. Their area combined is the size of New York City. 122 thousand people live there.

This small country is located in the Horn of Africa. It has the smallest population in mainland Africa – around 1 million people live there. 94% of them are Muslim.

This small European nation can be rightfully considered one of the "secret" countries of Earth. Many people believe that it's located somewhere in the Caribean or in Africa! It lies between Spain and France and is famous for its mountain terrain, cheese, and ski resorts.

Unknown countries? How arrogant and insulting!

I knew of all of these countries. Was a history and geography student in grade school and high school and they were my favorite subjects. Most students know not much about geography and history so I think that they will be doomed to repeat the mistakes done in the past. Albeit, embracing socialism. I guess that they will have to learn the hard way. I still read a lot about history and geography and I am 78 years old.

With a degree in Geography and Geology and a lifelong interest in them both I knew all of them, though I had forgotten where Djbouti was! Interesting fact that the 'living fossil' Coelacanth was found living near the Comoros islands. And Tonga had one of the longest reigning kings but is still a member of the British Commonwealth whose head is now the oldest (and longest reigning) monarch in the world.

Some of you may be interested to know that Kiribati - pronounced Kiribarss - is one of the pacific islands, along with Tuvalu, used by climate change aficionados to demonstrate rising sea levels. Unfortunately for their narrative, both these island groups are growing in size. However, in order to continue receiving massive amounts of Australian aid money each year to cope with a non existent problem, the fairy tale continues.
