Why weren't some of these places revitalized!? I can understand Ukraine , we're not ready for the mutants from Planet of the Apes but not all of those places are condemned by nuclear radiation!

I have seen Famagusta,Cyprus. I was fascinated with the story. Cars left on the roads and streets and food left on the dining tables. I thought that that would have been sorted when Cyprus entered the European Common Market, guess it's still the same as I saw in 2000.
