Of course the greatest modern disaster in food is the clearing of rainforests for agriculture, and all the fats and additives which have caused the pandemic of obesity which has caused more deaths than all the accidents.

I think the sugar would be the worst. Having been burned by melting sugar, I can attest to the way it sticks to the skin. It would be a horrible death!
