The TV star who played Rachel Zane on the U.S. TV legal drama series "Suits" was Meghan Markle. She was part of the series as Rachel from Season 1–7. Rachel was a senior paralegal and later an associate lawyer at the prestigious New York law firm of Pearson– Specter–Litt, LLC., known as one of New York city's top litigators.

Today (2020) Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is an American-born member of the UK British royal family. She married Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, in 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Besides being a former actress, she is currently a philanthropist, professional business mogul, and global community activist, working to end extreme poverty and social injustices (inequalities and discrimination).

Markle was born on August 4, 1981, in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, CA, USA. She was raised in Los Angeles after her parents divorced when she was 6. She lived with her mom, Doria Ragland, a yoga instructor and social worker. Later, during her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films.

Markle worked as an actress, published a lifestyle blog on food, travel, fashion, and beauty, called "The Tig", and greatly participated in feminist activities (job fairs, marches, rallies, concerts, and/or demonstrations in favor of equality for women) until she got married.
