Nothing bad happens when fruit and vegetables are prepared to be frozen: they may only lose tiny amounts of vitamins during blanching
Fruit and vegetables shipped from long distances contain less nutrients than frozen ones
Fruit and vegetables that are meant to be frozen are usually harvested at peak ripeness, when they are the most nutritious
In general, levels of nutrients in frozen and fresh produce are usually similar
