A trichologist specialises in the treatment of which part of the body?
Trichology is the science of the structure, function and diseases of the human hair. Clinical trichology is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the human hair and scalp.
Reasons to consult a trichologist would be for hair loss which causes great distress to some people, problems of the scalp, ranging from dandruff to more inflammatory conditions and hair texture problems caused by over exposure to heat or strong chemicals.

Louise C., Always remember to take your iron and eat iron rich foods. Liver is rich in iron and Guinness or Matteson's is good for iron too. Used to be a common problem for me too.
