As a US state, English is, of course, an official language of Alaska. But, since the passing of the bill HB 216 at the 2014 Alaska Federation of Natives Convention, Alaska’s Native languages have also become official state languages: Inupiaq, Siberian Yupik, Central Alaskan Yup'ik, Alutiiq, Unangan, Dena'ina, Deg Xinag, Holikachuk, Koyukon, Upper Kuskokwim,Gwich'in, Tanana, Upper Tanana, Tanacross, Hän,Ahtna, Eyak, Tlingit, Haida, Tsimshian.
