As of 2016, which NFL team has won the most championships?
Many people only think of the Super Bowl as the championship of the NFL. However, The NFL started in 1920. In the beginning of the league, the champions were decided by best overall record. In 1932, there was a tie, and the league had a one game playoff to decide the champs. After that the league was split into two divisions, and in 1933 the first official playoff system began. Since the beginning of the league however, the Green Bay Packers have won 13 championships (4 in the Super Bowl or 'modern era'). Chicago is second with 9 (1 in 'modern era') followed by the Giants with 8 (4 in modern era) then the Steelers with 6 (all in the modern era).

For all those complaining about the question, did it say Super Bowl specifically? No, it didn't, so the assumption that it was asking for that information is the reader's problem. There's nothing wrong with the question.

We moved to about a half hour south of Green Bay several years ago from the Chicago burbs. We find it humorous the amount of packerism tha exists. The time of the Christmas service was changed because of the packer game first year we lived here. People are either Catholic, Lutheran or whatever, and they’re packer fans as well.

Myron Diaz, using YOUR logic, along with 4 Super Bowl wins you would also have to credit the Packers with 4 NFC championships, and 15 NFC North Division championships, giving them 23 total. Nice try.
