The United Arab Emirates city of Dubai is no stranger to breaking world records, from massive things to one-of-a-kind buildings. Deep Dive Dubai recently added to the rich list of record-breaking achievements the city has with the world’s deepest swimming pool for diving. It is the only diving facility in the world where you can dive to depths of 60 meters (197 ft), which is 15 meters (49 ft) deeper and four times bigger than any other diving pool in the world.

The indoor pool is filled with 14 million liters (3.08 million imperial gallons) of freshwater, the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools. Water is kept at 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) to create the perfect conditions for diving. It is themed to resemble an abandoned sunken city. It will take several dives to explore this vast underwater city, which is filled with adventure and wonder. The pool is equipped with 56 cameras to ensure safety of the divers. State-of-the-art lighting and sound systems create a variety of underwater moods.
