As of 2021, who is the President of Yemen?

Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi is a Yemeni politician and former field marshal of the Yemeni Armed Forces serving as the president of Yemen since 2012. Although Hadi has international recognition, following the 22 January 2015 armed takeover by Houthis (Islamist political and armed movement), his position as president of Yemen has been rejected by Houthis. Because of ongoing military operations inside Yemen, Hadi currently spends much of his time in exile in Saudi Arabia.

Hadi was born in 1 September 1945 in Thukain, Al Wade'a District, Abyan, a southern Yemeni governorate. He graduated from a military academy in the Federation of South Arabia in 1966. In 1970, he received another military scholarship to study tanks in Egypt. Hadi spent the following four years in the Soviet Union studying military leadership.
