Cheslie Corrinne Kryst was born on April 28th, 1991 in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she grew to be a television correspondent, attorney, model and beauty pageant titleholder, winning Miss USA in 2019 and becoming the oldest woman to win the Miss USA pageant at the time. She then went on to represent the United States of America in the Miss Universe 2019 pageant, finishing in the Top 10. After her years in pageantry, she became a correspondent for the syndicated TV show, "Extra", as well as a few more Miss Universe pageants.

On January 30th, 2022, 30 year old Kryst jumped from a 60-story high rise apartment and fell to her death after leaving a suicide note and her belongings to her mother. Her mother later unveiled that Kryst had suffered from high-functioning depression.
