From which language does the word "Arsenal" come?

The word is originally from the Arabic dar-sina'a meaning "manufacturing shop". It was applied to the Venetian "Arsenale" which was a complex of shipyards and armories dating back to the 12th century. It entered the English language through Italian and French.
