Even the link, if anyone bothered to follow it through, has a table showing the population of Canberra rates #6. Population 453,558 (June 2021). Newcastle population 390,519 (2021 census). Time to do your research properly Frank!

I visited all the cities mentioned during a trip 16 years ago. What a beautiful country Australia is! I traveled by plane, train and automobile for 7,000 miles on the ground, seeing most all of the coastal regions except the Northern Territory. Canberra was a lovely city with impressive Parliament and Old Parliament buildings and a wonderful and informative War Museum. The Aussies were lovely hosts, and I would love to visit there again someday.

Whatever the answer, Australia is a BIG Country, I once hitch-hiked (3200 miles from Sydney to Mum's house nr Bunbury W. A.it took 4days and 6 hours! My Brother and a friend once drove from Whyalla to Mum's house and even that took 2 days and 6 hours but they were delayed for a few hours when they hit a train at a level crossing (It rolled the car but rhey were both unhurt)
