Donald Trump has been married three times. His current wife is Melania Knauss-Trump. Melania and Donald have one child. With his first wife Ivana Zelnickova, they had three children before their marriage ended in divorce. Donald's second wife was Marla Maples, and they had one child before the marriage ended in 1999.

In 2009 interview on ABC's news program Nightline, Donald commented on his ex-wives. He said, "I just know it's very hard for them [Ivana and Marla] to compete because I do love what I do. I really love it."

He has almost as much luck keeping a business afloat as he does making a marriage work. He has achieved several things so far though. 1. He is the first to shut down the government on the 1st anniversary of his inauguration. 2. He has set the record for the earliest shutdown of the government for any administration. 3. He is the first President to preside over a government shutdown while his party controls the presidency, the House of Representatives, and the Senate. He also promised to run the country like he runs his businesses. That bodes badly since he has dozens of business failures including 6 bankruptcies where he left many creditors and employees holding the bag. Will he also leave the taxpayers in debt while he profits from his ofcice in violation of the emoluments clauses?

Look at photos of John Derek's wives if you want to see wives who look similar. Bo Derek, Linda Evans, Ursala Andress; they could be triplets. His first wife, Pati Behrs didn't fit the mold. Good think Trump has lots of money or he'd still be single.

He's what sociologists refer to as a serial monogamist, which is not that unusual in our culture today. I remember when Adlai ran, some evangelicals here said they couldn't vote for him because he was divorced, then when Ron ran, hardly a whisper, and finally when an adulterous groping braggadocio serial monogamist runs, utter praise. Perhaps those evangelicals have "evolved" along with the secular society they so often condemn?

Trump's boorish behavior, disregard for truth, obsequiousness to Putin, destroying international credibility in the word of the US, etc., overshadows any economic advantages during his reign. Sinclair Lewis predicted it can happen here. If Trump is great so are Border Cages!
