How much does one million dollars in one hundred dollar bills weigh?
How much does $1 million weigh? That would depend on the denomination of the bills you use. Since there are 490 notes in a pound, if you used $1 bills it would weigh 2,040.8 pounds, but if you used $100 bills it would weigh only 20.4 pounds.

100 dollar US federal reserve notes weigh exactly 0.8 grams. 1 Million Dollars is 10,000 Bills. 10,000•0.8= 8000 grams. $1 million in $100s weighs 8 kilograms, or in American: about 17 pounds. A small briefcase could easily hold the bills.

Glenn Harshman, your estimate of a $100 bill is incorrect. It is nowhere near as heavy as 8 grams as you say. Also your conversion from grams to kilograms is incorrect - 80,000g is 80kg and not 8kg!

A 100.00 bill weighs about 8 grams, 10,000 , 100.00 bills weighs 8 grams so 10,000 times 8 =80,000 grams or 8 kilograms or about 17lbs. simple math people

20.4 lbs is not the correct answer from any source that I have found. Two others are close to the most common answer of about 17 pounds. Another wrong answer given as correct. Way to many of these.
