Under NHL rules, the opening of the goal is 72 inches (180 cm) wide by 48 inches (120 cm) tall, and the footprint of the goal is 44 inches (110 cm) deep.

Wow, I just guessed at this one & got it correct as Ilve in south Louisiana & we don't play Hockey here since ice is almost practically unheard of except the ice that comes from the ice trays in the freezer!
