I am a big fan of actor Russell Crowe and movie director Ridley Scott. Crowe has been amazing in "Galdiator," as well as "A Beautiful Mind," "Cinderella Man," and so many other extraordinary films. Joaquin Phoenix was amazingly wicked in "Gladiator," but he was indelible as country singer Johnny Cash in the film, "Walk the Line." Both Crowe and Phoenix have had an amazing succession of great acting performances in film.

This movie is one of best things what happened to me. Genius actors, cameramen, director and story writer. Atmosphere is magic, personages are real; it is not a movie - real life! I am a big fan of Russel Crowe after this tragic character he played so well. Joaquin Phoenix is genius in his complicated bad and selfish character, and Connie Nielsen is perfectly innocent. Wow! It could be time for me to open the door and step to the world at another side , where Russel's Crow's hero came at the end of movie.., I believe on it, do you?

Nancy Forrest, I still think Joaquin Phoenix should have taken the Oscar for 'Walk The Line', the same as Reese Witherspoon did. They both did an amazing job!!

Go get it and watch it. Best modern Sword and Sandle flick. Ben Hur, Quo Vadis, The Robe & Demetrius and The Gladiators (one movie 2 parts). And of coarse Spartcus These are all great movies!
