"Pulp Fiction" is a 1994 American crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Starring John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, Tim Roth, Ving Rhames, and Uma Thurman, it tells several stories of criminal Los Angeles.

Generally considered Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece "Pulp Fiction" was nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture, and won Best Original Screenplay; it earned Travolta, Jackson, and Thurman Academy Award nominations and revitalized their careers.

Vincent (Travolta) and Mia (Thurman) eat at a 1950s-themed restaurant, Jack Rabbit Slims, and participate in a twist contest, which they win and return home with the trophy. This scene is probably the most iconic and most often discussed of the film.

The fictional Jack Rabbit Slims restaurant which Vincent describes as a “wax museum with a pulse”, it had slot car race tracks, wait staff dressed up to resemble stars such as Marilyn Monroe, Mamie Van Doren, and James Dean, and booths fashioned out of classic cars was just about the coolest place ever.
