Ken Putnam, The question asks if he was the main character, not if his role (ramrod) was that of the main boss. Though I watched the show, I don't recall if Eastwood, as Rowdy Yates, was the star or if Eric Fleming, as Gil Favor, was the star. This is really getting boring.
