The Aston Martin DB5 is a British luxury grand tourer (GT) that was made by Aston Martin and designed by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. Released in 1963, it was an evolution of the final series of DB4.

Although not the first in the DB series, the DB5 is the best-known cinematic James Bond car, first appearing in the James Bond film "Goldfinger" (1964).

With its distinctively sleek styling, the DB5 is an iconic part of the James Bond series. Just as everyone knows how 007 likes his martini, so they know what he drives.

Several different models have appeared throughout the series, usually bedecked with various hidden gadgets and weaponry. The first to make its mark on screen was the DB5 in the 1964 classic, "Goldfinger." The DB5 was also featured in "Thunderball", "GoldenEye", "Tomorrow Never Dies", "Casino Royale", "Skyfall", and "Spectre".
