In which novel were dates given as AF ("After Ford") rather than AD or BC?
Brave New World is a novel written in 1931 by Aldous Huxley and published in 1932. Set in London of AD 2540 (632 A.F.—"After Ford"—in the book), the novel anticipates developments in reproductive technology, sleep-learning, psychological manipulation, and classical conditioning that combine profoundly to change society. Huxley answered this book with a reassessment in an essay, Brave New World Revisited (1958), and with Island (1962), his final novel.
Throughout the novel, the name "Ford" takes the place of "Lord" in a dramatic homage to Henry Ford who had recently introduced mass production of automobiles.

Bill Coe, I'll stick with AD and BC thanks, not religious at all but it's what works for me

The universally accepted designation and the global standard is CE and BCE (current era and before current era) as opposed to AD and BC.
