The Same As It Never Was Antiques is a store that serves as one of the most important locations in the U.S. TV series "Ghost Whisperer". It is the place where the store owner, Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt), usually spends most of her time, finding ghosts usually attached to various items and objects that she collects for her store. Melinda moved to the small town of Grandview, Driscoll County (in an unidentified state) where she opened the antique shop with her husband, Jim Clancy, a paramedic who knows of her ability.

The antique store came under the ownership of Melinda Gordon in Season 1 and was partly owned by Andrea Marino until Season 2 when Andrea died. Andrea was then replaced by widow Delia Banks, a former real estate agent. Due to a bakery closing down next door in Season 1, Same as It Never Was Antiques was expanded in size.

Melinda Gordon (Hewitt) has the ability to see and communicate with ghosts. Her husband knows of her ability. Jim and Melinda have a son Aiden (first appearance Season 5). Melinda always had the ability to speak with the dead, or "earthbound spirits" as her grandmother called them (with whom she shared the ability, along with her mother Beth, her great grandmother Julia, and great-great grandmother Tessa).
