"My Life Is Murder" is a murder mystery that takes place in Australia and New Zealand. It is a crime comedy-drama TV series and was broadcasted on Network 10 and TVNZ 1. The ten part series premiered in July 2019. In the USA, the series began streaming on Acorn TV in August 2019 and in the UK to Alibi, a pay British TV channel, in September 2019.

By the end of October 2020, the series had been renewed for a second 10-episode season, with TVNZ, Network 10, Acorn and other networks signed on to broadcast the show. The second season premiered in August 2021 on TVNZ 1, and began streaming in North America on Acorn (August 30, 2021).

This series follows the adventures of a fearless private investigator Alexa Crowe (Lucy Lawless); she solves very baffling crimes as well as coping with the frustrations of everyday life.

With help from local police officers, the tenacious and unapologetic, Alexa brings dry wit and her own brash style to fighting crime. Using her skills, she has to contend with a suspicious death at a competitive cooking school, a murder in an exclusive cycling club, a woman who fell from the balcony of a male escort's apartment, a locked-room mystery, and a number of other cases.
