On a dartboard, what is the center called?

All dartboards are divided into 20 pie-shaped sections, also called "segments", which are numbered from 1 through 20. Right at the center of all dartboards are two small circles or narrow rings, one smaller than the other, both called the bulls-eye. The smallest circle or ring right at the center are known as the inner or double bull counting 50 points (value of 2 x single bulls). The circle just outside of the inner bull is called the outer or single bull and counts 25 points.

I always knew if as CORK. I guess named for what it was made of.. To see who shots first you shot "for cork" the person who got closest to center won.

Wrong! It could be called any of those terms as it is an international sport. We play it at pubs in every port and they use many names for it. Check Wikiepdia if you have to.

Have a dartboard set up in our recreation room. My father will challenge me after to a set!! Love the game. Math skills, chess strategy, it all comes into play, just like in Snooker, which my father and I both enjoy as well. I'm the sporty "son" he never had. LOL

What a easy answer I played darts for countless pub dart teams from 1953 until 2002 Sadler forced to stop through Arthritis and the sad fact pubs in London are changing and good old fashioned pub games are disappearing darts, cribbage and dominoes hardly played anymore well not in central London

My parents had a pub back in the old dart, the customers loved their game of darts. I had to know the answer. For those that don’t know....the old dart is England...I now live in Australia.
