During compensatory hyperplasia, the remaining liver tissue becomes larger so that the organ can continue to function. The presence of facultative stem cells plays an important role in the regeneration process.

If my skin replaces itself every 35 days then that number definitely doesn't match. By your calculations, I'd have to die at age 25 or 26 or have the same skin longer than you're suggesting! WRONG answer!

It's not true that your entire brain replaces itself every two months. Brain cells typically last an entire lifetime (neurons in the cerebral cortex, for example, are not replaced when they die).
