The names of the three pet dragons on the very poplar 2011 - 2019 U.S. TV series "Game of Thrones" are Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion. They are Daenerys Targaryen's dragons. They consider her to be their mother; they do whatever she requires. All she has to do is ask.

Drogon is named after Khal Drogo. He is black with red markings. Larger and more aggressive than his siblings; he is also the personal mount of Daenerys Targaryen. Drogon was also known as the winged shadow by common folk when Daenerys resided in Meereen. He went missing following the assassination of Daenerys Targaryen. He was the last known dragon left in existence.

Rhaegal, named after Rhaegar Targaryen, is green with bronze markings. Daenerys allowed Jon Snow to mount him. Rhaegal was killed by Euron Greyjoy after being shot multiple times with a scorpion in the Battle at Dragonstone.

Viserion, named after Viserys Targaryen, is creamy white, with gold markings. This dragon was killed by the Night King after being pierced in the neck by an ice spear. The dragon reanimated as the king's Wight mount. He was later destroyed by Arya Stark during the Battle of Winterfell after she killed Viserion's dragon-rider. The death of the rider severed the magical connection between the two parties.
