Helen Folasade Adu well-known as Sade Adu or just Sade, is a famous English singer, songwriter, musician and producer. Leading an English band Sade, she became popular and got her name mentioned. Their first album Diamond Life, released in 1984, became extremely popular and was sold in more than 6 million copies! The Diamond Life is widely regarded as one of the most successful music albums of the 1980s. As for the female vocalist debuts, it was the best-selling British work among them.

Singer "Sade" is the daughter of a British mother & Nigerian father. She has continued to tour from time-to-time with her timeless music from the past. She also has a daughter that is the splitting image of her as well. My favorite song from her collection is "Ordinary Love."

Love Sade. She looks more like Lisa Bonet in that picture, however. So, sadly, I guessed wrong. Duh Todd. Used to have several Sade albums. Including the brilliant Diamond Life. Great songs on that. Including, as Bill Laughlin mentioned, Smooth Operator. Agree with filmnut. Once you hear her, she's impossible to forget. Great voice.
