The eye of an ostrich is larger than it's brain.
At 5 cm in diameter, the ostrich has the largest eye of any land animal. They are bigger than their brains but this does not make them stupid, however. It is not a case of an undersized brain but rather of oversized eyes.

I suspect the large eye is a benefit on Africa’s savannas where they live, detecting approaching danger that much more quickly. Hence the long neck as well, and long legs.

I have asperger's and am constantly having to think every time I see a spelling mistake or error in grammar or punctuation what the most likely alternatives are, and try each one in the sentence in turn and see if it fits. My comprehension and understanding is excellent for really complex but well written pieces of writing (I am a scientist and read a lot of scientific papers), so it can't be me at fault. I am also called on from time to time to do proofreading and have proofread three Masters theses as well as a number of documents for work
If everybody followed just a few simple rules, it would make a lot of people's lives a LOT easier
