The largest operator of autonomous vehicles in the world is?
Long before people were even seriously talking about Google self-drive cars, Tesla or other autonomous passenger vehicles, John Deere was automating tractors. Using everything from laser beacons set up on the edges of fields to GPS feedback, tens of thousands of John Deere tractors all over the world have been harvesting crops with minimal human oversight for years now.

John Deere are not the largest operator of these vehicles, they are the largest manufacturer.
As for operator, probably an unknown farmer in the USA.

I had nomidea! I live in the middle of farm country! Fields all around us! I have never seen a J D tractor with no driver!

No online search give John Deere even a mention, Waymo [owned by Google] is by far the most successful producer of autonomous vehicles.

jonbroberts, don't know how long ago that you drove them, but over 2 years ago I watched grape (also grain) harvesters operating with no driver whatsoever. And the technology has progressed remarkably since then.

Effren Hernandez, an implement is a tool, ie a spade, a fork, a hoe etc. a tractor has 4 wheels a steering wheel, an engine, a cab, as do cars, lorries, buses etc, I'd say that qualifies as a vehicle
